Jade is our 28-year-old niece who recently underwent a life-saving heart transplant after battling a rare genetic heart condition that has affected our family for generations. This same disease took her mother’s life at a young age. Without this transplant, Jade would not be here today.
She is now recovering in Michigan near her transplant team, and the immediate goal is helping her secure safe housing, medications, transportation, and the support needed during recovery as she begins rebuilding her life.
